Something else I've been working on has been another Korra amigurumi crochet doll for this October's Pumpkin Carving contest. I made one last year as a prize, it kind of seemed like a hit, so I wanted to make another one. Haven't been drawing much since that last post -- been working on crocheting a Korra amigurumi doll. I finally finished it, though! It is a prize for this year's Avatar Pumpkin Carving Contest, and mostly I'm just glad to have it done. Not much arting this week, too many October things to prepare for. One thing kind of slipped in though; while working on a new layout for one of my sites, I realized I couldn't just manga-color one of the official images so I completely redrew it and colored it normally. I'm not entirely happy with it but it'll do.

Today's post: More sprites. Er, well. sprite. I should have finished the Korra animals too, but they're just not working with me. Which means tomorrow's post will be (surprise!) more sprites as well. I think I am going to really like this new Avatar show. All of the concept art and expressions for the characters makes it seems like it's going to be a lot of fun, and the mixed martial arts/tricking looks like the fight scenes are going to be a blast to watch. <3 Tried to draw Bolin and his fire ferret Paboo, which seems like they'll be a funny ( Read more... )
